Built for Real Life: GASCU Brings Digital Investing to Its Members with Eko
October 21, 2026

We’re proud to welcome Glendale Area Schools Credit Union and its members to Eko.

GASCU began in 1937 when two Glendale Unified School District teachers created a financial cooperative for their community. Nearly nine decades later, that commitment to practical, people-first financial services continues with a new way for members to invest.

Through Eko, digital investing is now available from the familiar online and mobile banking experience members already use.

A Practical Place to Start

Members can begin with as little as $10 and choose an investment approach based on their goals, experience, and preferred level of involvement. Personalized portfolios offer guidance for those who want a simpler introduction, while hybrid and self-directed options provide greater flexibility.

Fractional shares, exchange-traded funds, recurring contributions, and portfolios for different goals give members room to begin at their own pace and build over time.

Investing with Education in Mind

Financial education has been part of GASCU’s identity since its earliest days. The Eko experience supports that tradition by helping members understand their choices without requiring them to become investing experts first.

Bringing these tools into digital banking also keeps the experience connected to the credit union relationship members already trust. It is another way for GASCU to put people before profits and support the financial needs of its growing community.

We’re excited to provide the technology behind this new experience and help GASCU members take their next step toward building wealth.
